MEET THE TEAM

Our Team

Our Team work really hard to ensure that children enjoy high quality sessions filled with exciting activities and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Jayne - Manager

I am married with three grown up children, ages ranging from 14-29. My children are very important to me and although they are grown up I still like to spend as much time with them as I can. I have worked with young children for 13 years. I hold a DPPP Level 3 and a Level 4 in Leadership &
Management.
I am very enthusiastic about my job and find it very rewarding. What I love most about my job is the 20 little people who are waiting at the other end to see me and brighten up my day.

Jayne is the designated safeguarding lead for our setting.

Sally - Deputy Manager

Our Team work really hard to ensure that children enjoy high quality sessions filled with exciting activities and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
I am married with three children and two step children. I have a busy home life and have lots of animals which keep me active.
I love to share my weekends with my parents who are foster carers and my sister and her children, so you could say my home turns into a nursery too!
I love my job and have worked here since 2008. The greatest part of my job is that I get to see the children grow in confidence everyday and see their transition in to BIG school!
I feel that I form good relationships with parents and especially my own key children's parents. They can always rely on me for a chat whenever it is needed.
Sally is the SENCO for our setting.

Sandra - Assistant

I’ve been married to Paul and lived in Wells for 25 years; we have two sons.
I came to St. Cuthbert’s Pre-School as a volunteer before being given the opportunity to join the team in 2008. I worked towards and completed the Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Children’s Care Learning and Development which includes the City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development whilst working at the setting.
I enjoy all aspects of the role and feel it’s important to make time to listen and chat; building relationships with the children. We share many special moments at the setting - it’s lovely to see a child’s face ‘light up’ or break into a smile.
Sandra is the ENCO for our setting.

Carol - Assistant

I have been working at St. Cuthberts since Jan 2012. I have three children ranging from 6-28 years, they are my world and I love spending time with them. I have been involved in the Carnival for 33 years and have been a member of Globe CC for 13 years.
I have a good sense of humour and enjoy having a giggle with the children and staff. I really enjoy my job and love watching how the children grow in confidence.
I especially like the mornings, as each child comes in with a smile on their face ready to start their day with us. St. Cuthberts is a great place to work and we have some fantastic children coming through our door

Harry - Assistant

I am married to Dan and we have two young children who have not long left the pre-school themselves!
I spend my spare time with my family. We love to explore new places, go swimming and spend lots of time outdoors.
We have three cats at home who I adore and love to spoil.
I am Level 3 qualified and have been working at St. Cuthberts since 2015.
I love my job and feel very lucky to be part of such a great team and to work with the fantastic children who attend our setting. Nothing brightens up your day better than their excitement to see you each morning.

Denise - Administrator

I have been involved with the Pre-School since my daughter was here in 2006/7, at which time I was also a committee member for a year.
Once she started school, I took on the role of part time Administrator and six years later I’m still here!! It’s always lovely to have a chat with the children in between doing my paperwork and to see how they blossom during their time here.
